The Investigator is a general purpose tool that enables data to be captured and presented. You would use the Invesigator when there was no suitable Application or you wished direct control over the logging interval , number of readings, trigger level, input voltage range etc....
Data capture may commence with a digital or analogue trigger and in addition two outputs may be controlled during logging. If the voltage on a chosen channel is above/below a particular value then it can set an output high/low. The output may be latched if required.
