Skin Temperature Sensor, H3-1050.00, £10.60
 The skin temperature sensor uses a thermistor which has been designed to give a linear response between 20 - 40 °C. Its low thermal inertia results in a very fast response time.
The Skin Temperature Sensor, which connects to the ALBA Interface and Logger, can be used to investigate:
- variations in the skin temperature of different parts of the body,
- variations in skin temperaure as a result of exercise,
- the effect of external temperatures on skin temperature.
 Results from the skin temperature Application on Biology Disk 1. The setup involved sitting on an exercise bike with the skin temperature sensor fixed on the forehead. The graph shows what happened when pedalling stopped at 172s.
