 The geared motor has a long shaft and a reversing switch. It operates from 4-6 V. Twine can be tied onto the shaft and small masses lifted and lowered. The geared wheel on the end of the shaft is to stop the twine from coming off the end.
There is a switch that enables the direction of rotation to be reversed.
This unit is ideal to use for finding the efficiency of a motorwhen raising a small weight (working against gravity) and when lowering it (working with gravity).
A small G-clamp is available to clamp the motor onto the bench while lifting a load.
