Comparison can be made between the AA and D cells - internal resistance and maximum current.
It is hoped that students will see patterns - smaller resitors result in smaller terminal voltage and larger circuit currents.
Although this board was designed to be used with the ALBA Interface and Logger it can be used without a computer. Your ammeter should be connected between point X and the top of the resistor and your voltmeter across the resistor.
